North Dakota State’s first FBS season in the Mountain West Conference is bringing plenty of national attention, with 10 games set to air on national television this fall. Even better for local fans, five of those matchups will be available on Valley News Live.

The TV schedule includes games on The CW, CBS Sports Network, Fox Sports 1, and ESPN. NDSU’s Sept. 19 road matchup against Sacramento State is scheduled to air on ESPN as part of the Mid-American Conference television package. Fans will also have streaming options available through the ESPN app and the new MW+ app launching later this summer.

Families looking for a new way to keep kids active this summer will soon have another option in Fargo. NRG Adventure Park is officially opening its doors Friday, bringing a massive indoor play space packed with activities for all ages.

As summer break gets underway, United Way is already looking ahead to the next school year with its annual school supply drive. The organization is collecting backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, and other classroom essentials to help students across the Fargo Moorhead area head back to school ready to learn.

This year’s goal is to provide supplies for 7,000 students in need. School leaders say having basic supplies on day one can make a huge difference for kids, helping them feel confident, included, and focused in the classroom.
