Fargo has a new spot for BBQ lovers with the opening of JD’s Barbeque on Main Avenue. The restaurant officially opened Friday after a soft opening and serves ribs and brisket in the former Jay’s Smokin’ BBQ and Mom’s Kitchen space inside the Tailgaters Building. Champagne Times: Lawrence Welk and His American Century by Lance Byron Richey, published by NDSU Press, won the Biography: Historical category at the Independent Press Awards.
