Scoops of the Day
Fresh Tracks Hit West Fargo 🚴♂️
A new outdoor adventure spot is officially open in West Fargo as Fargo-Moorhead Trailbuilders unveiled the Armour Trail, a little over a mile of singletrack designed for riders of all levels. Volunteers spent days clearing and prepping the trail ahead of its debut, creating a space that’s both accessible and just technical enough to keep things interesting.
Riders at the ribbon cutting said the trail offers a fun mix of challenges, from steep climbs to small drops, while still being approachable for beginners. Organizers say the goal is to give the community a convenient place to ride, unwind, and even support nearby local businesses. And this is just the start, with plans to add more miles of trail across the metro by summer.

Babb’s Brewing Up a New Spot ☕
A familiar downtown Fargo coffee stop is getting a change of scenery, but not by much. Babb’s Coffee House is relocating from its longtime Main Avenue spot to the historic Ford Building just a few blocks north on Broadway. The move comes as the current lease is set to expire at the end of July, with plans already in motion to open the new location later this month.
Owner Shawn Gibree says there may be a short overlap where both locations are open during the transition. Babb’s has been part of the downtown scene since 2002, and while Gibree recently closed his Moorhead shop, Third Drop Coffee, due to slow sales, this move keeps Babb’s firmly rooted in the heart of Fargo.

Prints, Presses & Pocket Art 🎨
Art lovers gathered in Moorhead this weekend as The Rourke Art Gallery hosted its annual Print Fest, a celebration dedicated entirely to the craft of printmaking. Artists from across the region brought their work to showcase and sell, giving visitors a chance to explore everything from traditional techniques to modern styles.
This year also introduced a fun new addition: a print vending machine offering miniature pieces for just a dollar, now a permanent feature at the museum. Organizers say the event honors the legacy of the gallery’s founding director, a printmaker himself, while helping support local artists and spark curiosity about the medium. Guests could also try their hand at screenprinting and grab a bite to eat, making it a full day of creativity and community.
