The historic Moorhead Dairy Queen is officially open for the season, and fans wasted no time lining up for their favorites. The location, which first opened in 1949, is known as the birthplace of the Dilly Bar and still hand dips the iconic treat on site, along with classics like Buster Bars.

For the first time in program history, West Fargo United is bringing home the North Dakota Girls’ Hockey state championship. The team edged out Grand Forks 2 to 1 in the title game, capping off a remarkable tournament run.

Disc golfers bundled up at Woodlawn Park this weekend for the 10th annual Moorhead Ice Bowl, hosted by Big Cat Disc Golf. The tournament is part of a nationwide Ice Bowl tradition that pairs winter play with fighting hunger. Of the $25 entry fee, $20 went directly to the Fargo Emergency Food Pantry, with the remaining $5 added to the prize pool.
