Bison Football Levels Up 🦬
North Dakota State University has officially accepted an invitation to join the Mountain West Conference as a football affiliate member, moving to the Football Bowl Subdivision level starting this fall. University leaders say the decision follows years of planning and is meant to strengthen NDSU’s national visibility, academic partnerships, and long term institutional growth while giving the football program a bigger competitive stage.
Football will compete in the Mountain West, while most other NDSU sports remain in the Summit League and wrestling continues in the Big 12. School officials and athletics leaders say the shift brings new opportunities for fans, expanded media exposure, and matchups against higher level competition, marking a significant new chapter for Bison athletics according to university announcements.

Breakfast Just Got Cooler in Fargo 🍦
Ice cream lovers across the Fargo Moorhead area showed up in a big way for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, a fun tradition that also signals many local shops reopening full time after their winter slowdown. Spots like Silver Lining Creamery downtown and Lundy’s at the Lights teamed up with Sandy’s Donuts for creative breakfast inspired treats, drawing plenty of families and curious foodies.
Silver Lining even rolled out new breakfast themed flavors for the occasion and highlighted a recent change to remove seed oils from their baked goods. For many shops, the event is both a celebration of community and a sweet kickoff to another busy season.
