Out of the Darkness Walk

Families and friends from Richland and Wilkin Counties came together in Wahpeton for the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk, honoring loved ones lost and supporting those struggling with mental health. Participants wore colorful beaded necklaces, each representing a personal story, while raising awareness and breaking the stigma around mental health. Local chapters of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention are working to provide resources, programs, and support services, reminding everyone that small acts of attention and care can save lives.
