Supporting the Veterans Giving Tree 🎄

The Fargo VA is once again hosting its “Veterans Giving Tree” this holiday season, and they’re inviting the community to help meet the needs of local veterans. The tree is on display at the North Main Entrance, where donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The items collected are used to support veterans throughout the year and help fulfill their unique and emergent needs. Fargo’s Getting a Second Chick-fil-A 🍗

Big news for Fargo today! Chick-fil-A is opening its second location inside the Memorial Union on the NDSU campus. The new spot will be serving up all your favorite chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, offering even more opportunities for the Fargo-Moorhead community to enjoy. The original location, near West Acres, has been a local favorite since 2018. Now, with two locations in Fargo, North Dakota is home to five Chick-fil-A restaurants, including spots in Grand Forks and Bismarck. For more details, read the full article here.

Salvation Army's Red Kettle Drive is Back 🔔

The Salvation Army has kicked off its annual Red Kettle Drive, aiming to raise $900,000 to support local families in need. Since 1891, donations to the Red Kettle campaign have been a beloved tradition, with 83% of every dollar directly benefiting those in the Fargo-Moorhead community. This year, there’s some friendly competition brewing between local law enforcement, firefighters, and realtors to see who can bring in the most donations. GiGi’s Playhouse in Fargo is making a lasting impact through its partnerships and programs, especially with local organizations like Pediatric Partners.
