RedHawks Set for Postseason Battle

The F-M RedHawks are gearing up for the postseason, facing the Sioux City Explorers in a best-of-three series in the American Association’s Miles Wolff Cup Playoffs. Game 1 kicks off in Sioux City on September 4th, with the series shifting to Fargo-Moorhead for Game 2 on September 6th at Newman Outdoor Field. If necessary, Game 3 will also be in Fargo on September 7th. The RedHawks had an 8-5 edge over the Explorers during the regular season, including a 5-2 record at home. North Dakota NASA Astronaut James Buchli Honored with Rough Rider Award 🚀

James Buchli, a NASA astronaut and North Dakota native, was honored with the Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award by Governor Doug Burgum. Buchli, a Marine Corps veteran and the first North Dakotan in space, has completed four space missions, orbited Earth 319 times, and accumulated over 20 days in space. Known for his significant contributions to space exploration and research, Buchli joins a prestigious list of award recipients. At the ceremony, Buchli presented a North Dakota state flag he flew into space to the State Historical Society, and his portrait will be displayed in the Rough Rider Hall of Fame.
