Spirit Halloween is back with new locations for the 2025 season. Fargo will get a new store at the former Party City site on 13th Avenue SW, though the exact opening date is still to be confirmed. Grand Forks fans can visit the new shop on 32nd Avenue S, expected to open sometime in August. For those in Minnesota, the closest Spirit Halloween spots will be in Brainerd and St. Cloud. Randy’s Diner Scoops Up a New Spot 🍦
After 26 years at their South University Drive location, Randy’s Diner is moving just across the street to Midtown Market on the old Kmart site. The longtime favorite has outgrown their current space, which is also costly to maintain. The new location will offer more parking, additional seating, and a much-needed air-conditioned kitchen for the staff. While the classic menu will stay the same, Randy’s plans to introduce a few new specials and a salad bar to mix things up. Long before Fargo was the bustling city we know today, its very first home was built in 1869 by Harry Moore and George Mann. Known as “Fargo’s First House,” this log structure has lived many lives — from the Man-Moore Hotel to a temporary jail where prisoners stayed in the loft while the Sheriff and Mayor worked below. Over the decades, it was moved multiple times, remodeled, and nearly torn down in 1972 before being rescued and donated to Bonanzaville, where it stands today.
