A Meaningful Impact

Golden Drive Homeless Kids Sock Drive 🧦

A small idea has grown into a big impact in West Fargo. What started when founder Sue Baron was asked about the top need for homeless kids — socks — has turned into an annual drive that collected nearly 37,000 pairs last year. Now through October 3, new socks can be dropped off at sites across the metro, including Flag Family Studios on Thunder Road. In October, volunteers and local students will help sort and distribute the socks to schools and shelters, giving kids the dignity of picking out their own pairs. Baron says the effort not only meets a basic need but also inspires hope and community connection. For more details, read the full article here.
