Speed Limit Now 80 MPH on ND Interstates 🚗
North Dakota’s interstate speed limit has officially increased from 75 to 80 MPH. The change, signed into law by Governor Kelly Armstrong, also raises minimum speeding fines, starting at $20 for going up to 4 MPH over and $25 for 5 or more. The ND Highway Patrol reminds drivers to drive safely, warning that even small increases in speed significantly raise crash severity. New signs will be fully in place by next week. Fargo's 2026 Budget Process Begins 💼
Fargo Mayor Dr. Timothy Mahoney will present the city’s 2026 preliminary budget recommendations to the City Commission during a special meeting. Commissioners will review and vote on the preliminary plan later that day and are expected to set a public hearing date for September 15, as required by state law.
