Bison Football Adds Game Day Perks
NDSU football is gearing up for the 2025 season with some new fan-friendly upgrades. Tailgaters can now set up in Fargodome lots E, F, and G on Friday nights from 4–7 PM, making game day mornings smoother—though no tailgating is allowed until the big day. Inside the dome, a new point-of-sale system will speed up purchases at kiosks with cash, cards, and contactless payments all accepted. The Bison kick off August 30 at The Citadel, with their home opener September 13 against Southeast Missouri State. For more details, read the full article here.
Fargo Police Embrace High-Tech Crime Fighting
The Fargo Police Department is stepping up its game with advanced tools to help solve crimes more efficiently. Officers now use Axon Draft One body cameras, which record both video and audio narration that can be transcribed directly into reports. Around the city, strategically placed Flock cameras scan for vehicles or individuals linked to crimes, instantly alerting police. At the heart of operations is the Real Time Crime Center, giving officers access to hundreds of cameras and faster, real-time intelligence. While technology continues to evolve, police note that the unpredictable human element still keeps every case unique. Plans are already in motion to expand the Real Time Crime Center within the next year. For more details, read the full article here.
