Mrs. Adelman Named Support Staff of the Year ❤️

Fargo Public Schools has named Mrs. Adelman as this year’s Support Staff of the Year winner, recognizing her dedication to McKinley Elementary since 2004. Currently serving as a positive behavior technician, Adelman was honored in a surprise assembly, where she shared her deep passion for her work and the school community.

Described as a calming presence, she helps students and staff regulate their emotions and fosters a supportive environment through her warmth and care. Adelman sees her role as more than a job. It’s a purpose that drives her every day. For more details, read the full article here.

Red River ZooMobile Brings Animals to Lincoln Elementary 🐢

The Red River Zoo is taking its ZooMobile on the road, visiting several Fargo elementary schools over the next two weeks to teach students about animals. At Lincoln Elementary, 3rd graders got an up-close look at the Mississippi Map Turtle, Leopard Gecko, and Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches.

Each classroom visit lasts about 30 minutes, with the zoo selecting animals based on what’s ready for the road. The ZooMobile visits will continue through March 6 and will stop at schools like McKinley, Madison, and Bennett Elementary, along with others. For more details, read the full article here.

Knock em Down for Jeromy Brown Marks 6 Years 🎳

Sunset Lanes in Moorhead was packed this weekend for the sixth annual Knock em Down for Jeromy Brown Charity Bowl. The event brought together bowlers of all abilities for a night of fun and fundraising, supporting the Jeromy Brown Family Fund’s mission of inclusivity for people with disabilities.

Longtime participants like two-time champion David Dahlgren returned for another year, while newcomers joined in to keep the tradition growing. Create a stunning hanging globe terrarium with two succulents, rocks, sand, moss, and premium Baker Blend succulent soil. This hands-on class is a perfect way to craft a reminder of sunnier days!
