Moorhead High School Career Academy is one of 40 schools nationwide to receive a $5,000 grant from the Rachael Ray Foundation and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. A Sundae of Giving

Wrapping Veterans in Comfort ❤️

The American Red Cross and Gate City Bank are teaming up once again for their annual “Quilts for Veterans” project. From Sept. 11 to Nov. 11, quiltmakers and donors can drop off new quilts and blankets at any Gate City Bank location. These will be distributed to VA hospitals, homes, and regional stand-down events. Donations must be sturdy, able to withstand industrial washing, and free of loose strings. The quilts will accompany veterans home after discharge, offering them warmth and comfort. This project, launched in 2022, has already provided hundreds of quilts to veterans across the Red River Valley. For more details, read the full article here.
