North Dakota Hits a New Peak š
North Dakotaās population has reached an all-time high, nearing 800,000 as of July, according to the U.S. Census. This surge is driven by migration from neighboring states like South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and Texas, as well as immigration and a positive birth rate. Urban hubs such as Fargo, Bismarck, and the Bakken oil region are experiencing the most growth.
Remarkably, North Dakota is one of just three states with a positive fertility rate, meaning more births than deathsāa key factor in the stateās demographic rise. Projections from the Department of Commerce suggest the population could surpass 830,000 by 2030 and reach nearly 890,000 by 2040. For more details, read the full article here.
Aldiās Generous Milk Donation Supports Churches United š„
Churches United for the Homeless in Moorhead is grateful to Aldi for a generous donation of 1,200 pounds of milk to help those in need. Pastor Devlyn Brooks was astonished by the size of the donation, which is enough to fill the backseat of an F-150 and the back of a minivan, or about a dozen shopping carts.
The donation came thanks to collaboration with Golden Drive Homeless Kids and the Dorothy Day Food Pantry, who confirmed the urgent need for milk. Pastor Brooks expressed his gratitude, emphasizing that the communityās ongoing support, like this donation, truly makes a difference in the lives of those struggling with homelessness.
