Gate City Bank Contributes $2M to Fargo 💰
Gate City Bank has renewed its partnership with the City of Fargo, contributing $2 million to the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI) to support improvements in mature neighborhoods. This initiative offers homeowners loans at below-market interest rates for property repairs and upgrades. Since its launch in 2003, Gate City Bank has contributed $127 million, helping homeowners with everything from new garages to energy-efficient updates.
To qualify, homes must be over 40 years old, occupied by the owner, and valued under $300,000. Loan amounts range from $10,000 to $100,000, with low interest rates and repayment options. Honoring Fargo’s Hero 🏅
Fargo Police Sgt. Zach Robinson received the prestigious 2024 Pitsenbarger Award from the Air Force Sergeants Association on Saturday, a national honor recognizing extraordinary courage in life-threatening situations. Robinson was celebrated for his heroic actions during the July 14, 2023, ambush on Fargo officers, which tragically killed Officer Jake Wallin and injured Officers Tyler Hawes and Andrew Dotas. His quick thinking and bravery ultimately stopped the shooter, saving lives. Robinson, a Master Sgt. in the North Dakota Air National Guard, was praised by Col. Christopher M.
