The community helped bring in over 100,000 pounds of food and more than $45,000 in donations to support local families. Students from more than 50 schools participated and distributed the food through a drive-through event at Fargodome. Nearly 1,400 boxes of food were shared with close to 475 families, making this year’s effort one of the strongest yet. For more details, read the full article here.
Lasagna Love’s Holiday Kindness 🍝
Lasagna Love North Dakota brought warmth to local families this Thanksgiving with a massive lasagna-making marathon. Volunteers cooked up more than 70 meals, feeding nearly 200 people and helping ease holiday stress for those facing food insecurity. The day also included an extra-special surprise when volunteers gifted a new oven to a family whose appliance had broken earlier in the week, ensuring they could enjoy home-cooked meals again.
