Minnesota Gobbles Up Another Great Year for Turkeys 🦃

Minnesota, the nation’s top turkey producer for over 70 years, celebrated another successful year in 2024 with nearly 34 million turkeys raised. The Minnesota Turkey Growers Association attributes this year’s success to robust biosecurity measures that reduced avian influenza risks, resulting in lower turkey prices just in time for the holidays.

Concordia Prepares for a Stunning Mural Debut 🎨

The iconic Concordia Christmas Concerts are set to return, and the intricate mural backdrop—an essential part of the performance—is already under construction in Moorhead. This year’s mural, designed by artist Paul Johnson of Pelican Rapids, promises to deepen the emotional resonance of the 98th annual concert, titled “Our Eyes, at Last, Shall See Him.”
