Catch a Glimpse of History in the Sky 🌠

A comet last seen 80,000 years ago is lighting up the Northern Hemisphere’s night sky. Discovered in 2023 by astronomers in China and South Africa, Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS will come within 44 million miles of Earth this month. Skywatchers can look to the western horizon after sunset, and with peak visibility expected early this week, tonight is one of your best chances to see it! Don’t miss this rare event—it won’t return for another 80,000 years! For more details, read the full article here.

Fargo Woman Nears Goal in Epic Movie Collection Quest 🎥

Fargo resident Sable Adelaide is close to her quirky goal of collecting 1,000 copies of the 2005 rom-com Wedding Crashers. After starting with just over 500 copies last year, Adelaide now has 853, including some from international donors and even fan art! What started as a prank has turned into a fun community project—though Adelaide has never actually seen the movie. She plans to watch it once she hits her goal and is even considering a special screening at the Fargo Theatre to celebrate. For more details, read the full article here.

ND Students Explore Aviation Careers ✈️

Over 200 students from across North Dakota gathered at the Fargo Air Museum last week for the 5th annual Fly-ND Aviation Career Expo. The event, hosted by the North Dakota Aviation Association, gave students a hands-on look at career opportunities in the aviation industry, from UAV and helicopter pilots to aircraft mechanics. With North Dakota being a hub for aviation, the demand for skilled professionals continues to grow. Interested in aviation? Check out the association's website for opportunities and scholarships!
