Crooked Pint Ale House Closes in Fargo 🍻

Crooked Pint Ale House on 13th Ave S has suddenly shut down after six years in business. A sign posted on the door thanked the Fargo community for its support, calling it a “true privilege” to serve local patrons.

VCSU Breaks Ground on Big Athletic Dreams 🏟️

Valley City State University is gearing up to expand its athletic footprint in a major way. On June 12, the school will officially break ground on the Tharaldson Family Athletic Center, a new state-of-the-art facility that will feature an indoor turf practice field, updated weight and training rooms, and new locker room amenities. The center will sit just south of the existing W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse.

Thanks to a $5 million lead gift from the Gary Tharaldson Family and other private donors, this project marks a significant step forward for VCSU athletics. The community is invited to the 2:00 P.M. ceremony, where they’ll get a chance to walk the full-size layout of the future space and check out architectural renderings.
