Christmas Comes Early at the Fair 🎅
If you're looking for a break from the summer heat, the Red River Valley Fair has a festive surprise waiting. Inside the Foltz Building near the North Gate, visitors can step into a "Christmas in July" display filled with twinkling lights and even a chance to meet Santa Claus. Best of all, visiting Santa is completely free with fair admission.
Families are invited to stop by, snap a photo, and let the kids share their Christmas wishes, even if it's only July. It's a fun, unexpected tradition that adds a little holiday magic to the fair's "10 Best Days of Summer."

A New Chapter for a Fargo Favorite 🍻
One of Fargo's longtime neighborhood bars is getting new ownership. Duffy's Tavern, a local landmark that's been serving customers since 1967, has been sold by owner Duane "Duey" Litton after nearly two decades at the helm.
The new ownership group, led by 28-year-old attorney Colin Poolman, says regulars can expect the same Duffy's they've come to know over the years. Rather than making major changes, the team plans to preserve the tavern's welcoming atmosphere and continue building on the strong sense of community that has made it a Fargo staple for generations.

A New Chapter for Live Entertainment 🎭
The Fargo Theatre has announced a new partnership with Boise-based CMoore Concerts that will bring more live music, comedy, and touring performances to downtown Fargo. Theatre leaders say the collaboration will help continue the venue's long tradition of hosting top entertainment while expanding the lineup of acts coming to the FM area.
The partnership follows the recent closure of Jade Presents, the Theatre's previous booking partner. The good news for fans is that the July 19 Home Free concert will still take place as planned, and all previously purchased tickets will be honored. The Fargo Theatre says additional updates on other previously announced shows are expected soon, with new concert announcements also on the way.

Cherry season is here, and it's bringing an opportunity to support a great cause. Through July 14, Hornbacher's shoppers can help make a difference by purchasing fresh cherries, with 25 cents from every pound sold benefiting Sollera and the YWCA. Both organizations provide vital services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and abuse.
Now in its 44th year, Cherries for Charity has become a beloved community tradition, raising more than $538,000 since it began in 1984. It's an easy way to enjoy a summertime favorite while helping local organizations continue their important work for those who need it most.
